Two Months to go!

Thanks for visiting my blog and reading this, my first entry! There's still a few things I want to add to the page, and I'm enlisting the help of my technologically-savvy husband to get the countdown working at the bottom of the page. So keep checking back for updates and changes!

I can't believe that there are only 53 days until the Olympics...that's hardly any time at all, especially since these next weeks are going to fly by! We have a show this weekend, another at the end of the month, and still one more the middle of next month. The training is going to be pretty intense this week in preparation for the show, but I'm still feeling really good about our progress so far. We have both programs complete and have swam through with pretty decent results. Now we just have lots and lots of matching and perfecting to do as we "fine tune" our programs and get them exhibition-ready, as well as keeping up with our strength and conditioning training out of the water. I hope that everyone on the team stays healthy as we approach the final 2 months. We have had a couple of injuries and sicknesses this month which have made training more difficult because it's hard to run through an entire program with a person missing! Other than that things are going well and I'm excited for the week to come.
